The brothers of Phi Delta Chi want to wish everyone luck in the semester, as we are now in the full swing of things here at ACPHS.  While exams and classes have you tied up, Phi Delta Chi is stoked about the arrival of Rushing and showing potential members what we are all about.  On Sunday October 17th, the Brothers and Rushes got together at 6:45 in the morning to walk over to Washington Park and help set up for the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk.  We assembled tents and put together tables and chairs. After we volunteered, we went on to have a nice fraternal breakfast together.

Phi Delta Chi also planned the Fall semester Wing Ding on November 6, 2010.  Twice a year the brothers get together at the bar and enjoy endless wings and beer.  No other day compares to Wing Ding when you are trying to forget about the worries of ACPHS.  Brothers and friends get together and share some of the happier times of life at Andy’s Sports Bar for a truly memorable experience.

Phi Delta Chi will be taking on more projects such as cooking at the Ronald McDonald house and presenting cold and cough information at local pharmacies.  The health fair was also a great success as many health professionals and members of the community were intrigued by our pain management presentation.  The community needs to realize the dangers of prescription pain medication and that there can be negative effects such as addiction.  The Brothers of Phi Delta Chi wish you luck again on your studies and hope you can find some time to enjoy life.
